As a speaker, Scott engages and motivates his audiences to expand their vision, explore their passions and to embrace the journey that is their lives as learners and adventurers.
Scott is a master executive coach, OD consultant, strategic and executive team facilitator, workshop leader and keynote speaker. He has dedicated his professional life to learning, embodying and applying emerging technologies from the areas of somatics, philosophy, linguistics, athletics, integral studies, experiential and action learning and appreciative inquiry into his ground breaking work in transformational leadership, team development, organiza- tional culture change.
Scott Coady is the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Embodied Wisdom, a transformational education center located in Ojai, California. He is a Principal at Sage Alliance Partners and a member of the Transformational Leadership Council and a founding member of ATL SoCal. He holds a BA in Business Administration at Cal Lutheran University and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He was certified as a coach by the Newfield Network in 1992, and as a Master Somatic Coach by the Strozzi Institute in 2002.

A third generation native Californian, Scott has navigation in his blood and a passion for adventure and discovery. Multiple paternal ancestors were Master’s of sailing ships out of Liverpool, England and Scott graduated top of his class in the US Navy’s Navigation School. He became the youngest Navigation Officer in the history of the Navy’s Assault Craft Unit One where he worked closely with the US Navy SEAL Teams. As a high performance leadership and team coach, Scott continues to help “navigate” clients and students toward their futures.
Recently, Scott worked with the leadership team of a billion dollar business to transform the company’s culture and results. The business saw a 70% increase in net profits after tax and a dramatic increase in employee engagement in just ten months.
